Dr. Jonathan B. Denton is a board-eligible endodontist who earned his master's degree and endodontic certificate from West Virginia University and his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1992. He completed his residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown and joined Dr. Price in practice in 1995.
A diplomate of the board, Dr. Denton is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Southern Endodontic Study Group, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dedicated to all aspects of endodontic care, Dr. Denton has special interests in root canal therapy and apical surgery. He is committed to clinical excellence and consistently exceeds Alabama's continuing education requirements to stay at the forefront of his specialty.
Outside the office, Dr. Denton enjoys spending time with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, and flying. He is married to Jennifer and is the proud father of three children: Blaine, Madelyn, and Luke.

Root Canal. I Waited much too late. They were very patient & though. Since I waited so long, infection was very bad. They were able to do about 2/3 & scheduled me for the remainder. Felt much better that night than I’ve felt in years. Very grateful for Price Denton (Dr. G) & regret the issues I caused by waiting so long to have the procedure.
Dr. Denton is so good that I could barely feel the Novocain injections. I had my second root canal today. It was a pain-free root canal and fast too! I highly recommend Dr. Denton.
I was referred to Dr. Denton for a root canal. After doing my scans and evaluation he determined a root canal wasn’t the best course of treatment. I’ve had other doctors push fillings, crowns etc when I didn’t have any pain or feel they were necessary. It was a breath of fresh air to not feel pressured for an extensive treatment plan. The staff were all kind and efficient. A link for paperwork was sent ahead of time and there was nothing to fill out when I arrived. My expected cost was also provided via text ahead of my appointment. Great experience.
