Dr. Jonathan B. Denton is a board-eligible endodontist who earned his master's degree and endodontic certificate from West Virginia University and his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1992. He completed his residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown and joined Dr. Price in practice in 1995.
A diplomate of the board, Dr. Denton is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Southern Endodontic Study Group, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dedicated to all aspects of endodontic care, Dr. Denton has special interests in root canal therapy and apical surgery. He is committed to clinical excellence and consistently exceeds Alabama's continuing education requirements to stay at the forefront of his specialty.
Outside the office, Dr. Denton enjoys spending time with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, and flying. He is married to Jennifer and is the proud father of three children: Blaine, Madelyn, and Luke.
I was extremely pleased, The whole staff was professional, knowledgeable, and worked as a team. Mr. Denton came in and told me exactly what to expect. Which calmed me tremendously. He said it would quick and painless and that’s what it was. When I tell people of my experience I jokingly say he made me feel like I was experiencing the Derrick Sheppard of dentistry. My experience gave today is a great day to save teeth
This was the best root canal experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Denton was kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. He paid close attention to my pain level, making the process as painless as possible.My dental assistant was also incredibly gentle and attentive, frequently checking to make sure I was comfortable. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was friendly and welcoming, especially the receptionist, who made me feel at ease.I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of dental care. They truly go above and beyond to provide excellent, compassionate service.

This was not my first root canal but it was by far the easiest one I have ever had. Short time in the chair, painless and comfortable!!Highly recommend Dr Denton and his excellent staff!!!!
Dr. Denton is amazing! After being told I needed my first ever root canal, my dentist attempted to do it but couldn’t get my tooth numb. I was then referred to Dr. Denton who was able to numb my tooth with little to no pain from the numbing shots. With this being my first root canal, Dr. Denton made this super easy, painless, and I was even out of the office within 30 minutes! 10/10 recommend!
