Dr. J. Kevin Goertemiller attended the US Military Academy at West Point and was commissioned as an officer in the US Army in 1992. After serving as an Army Aviator for 13 years, he attended dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He returned to Active Duty and continued to serve as an Army Dental Corps Officer until his retirement from the Army in 2024.
Dr. Goertemiller attended a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program, and after serving a tour in Afghanistan as a General Dentist, attended the Army Endodontic Residency at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In 2017, he achieved status as a Board-Certified Endodontist and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Goertemiller enjoys treating patients and helping them navigate through root canal procedures with humor and compassion. He is excited about the opportunity to work with the Price-Denton Endodontics team and serve the residents of Northern Alabama.
Dr. Goertemiller has a wonderful wife, Ashley, who owns a Professional Organizing Business. Together they have five children and reside in Ringgold, Georgia.
Dr. Goertemiller and hygienist were great. Were willing to address any concerns that I may have had.
Dr Goertemiller did a great job diagnosing my issue. Root canal was painless. If I need another I will call him.
Everyone was very friendly and caring. Dr. Kevin Goertemiller was extremely attentive at making sure I couldn’t feel anything during the root canal. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!
